Real Estate Drone Hire Sydney

A listing with aerial photos gets more attention. That’s not a theory. It’s what agents across Sydney see every week when they compare how listings with drone content perform against those without it.

Aerial photography and video show the full picture of a property. The block size, the streetscape, the proximity to parks and schools, the aspect, the views, the surrounding neighbourhood. These are the things buyers care about, and ground-level photos simply can’t communicate them the same way.

We’re Enord UAV Solutions, based in Melrose Park in Sydney’s northwest. We provide real estate drone photography and video for agents, property marketers, developers, and vendors across the Sydney metro area. You book, we shoot, we deliver. Fast turnaround and pricing that works whether you’re shooting one listing or ten a month.

Why Aerial Content Matters for Real Estate Listings

Most buyers start their property search online. They scroll through listings, and the ones with better photos get more clicks. That’s been true for years. What’s changed is that aerial content is no longer a luxury reserved for multi-million dollar homes. It’s become a practical marketing tool for listings at almost every price point.

Here’s what drone content actually does for a listing.

It shows the full property and its surroundings. A ground-level photo can show the front of the house. A drone photo shows the house, the yard, the neighbours, the street, the nearby park, the walking distance to the shops. Buyers get context they can’t get from any other angle.

It communicates block size and layout. This matters more than most agents realise. Buyers looking at houses in suburbs like Castle Hill, Kellyville, Baulkham Hills, and across the Hills District often care as much about the land as the house. An overhead shot makes the block dimensions obvious in a way that a floor plan number can’t.

It highlights location advantages. If the property is near water, bushland, a golf course, transport, or a school, an aerial photo makes that connection instantly. Instead of writing “close to Epping Station” in the listing copy, you show it from the air and let the buyer see it for themselves.

It creates a stronger first impression. A hero aerial shot at the top of a listing stops the scroll. It signals that the agent has invested in the marketing, which signals to the vendor that you take the campaign seriously. That matters for winning listings as much as selling them.

It differentiates your listings from the competition. In a market where most agents use the same ground-level photographers, aerial content sets your listings apart. It’s a visible difference that buyers notice.

What You Get When You Book a Real Estate Drone Shoot

Every real estate shoot is tailored to the property and the brief. Here’s what’s available.

Aerial Photography

High-resolution still photos captured from multiple angles and heights. We fly the DJI Mavic 3 Pro, which shoots at a level of detail that lets you crop, zoom, and reframe without losing quality.

A standard real estate aerial shoot typically includes a mix of straight-down overhead shots (showing block layout and boundaries), elevated angle shots (showing the property in context with its surroundings), and wider neighbourhood shots (showing proximity to amenities, parkland, water, or transport).

And if you would like, we can organise to get all of your photos professionally edited with colour correction, exposure adjustment, and horizon levelling before delivery. You get files ready to upload to your listing platform, print for brochures, or use in social media campaigns.

Aerial Video

Cinematic aerial video captured in up to 5.1K resolution. Video brings a property to life in a way that photos alone can’t. A smooth flyover of the property, a slow reveal of the block from behind the treeline, a wide sweep showing the streetscape and surrounding area.

If you would like for us to edit the videos we can organise something to edit the video with colour grading and pacing that suits real estate marketing. If you need it cut to a specific length for a listing platform or social media format, we’ll deliver it ready to go.

For properties where video is a priority, we plan the flight path around the shots that will have the most impact. If you have specific creative direction or a shot list, we’re happy to work to it.

Twilight and Golden Hour Shoots

Timing makes a huge difference to how a property looks from the air. Golden hour (the first and last hour of sunlight) produces warm, soft light that makes properties look their best. Twilight shoots capture the property with interior lights on against a deep blue sky, which creates a premium, magazine-quality look.

We offer scheduled golden hour and twilight drone shoots for listings where presentation is a top priority. These slots are limited by the time of day and the season, so book early if this is something you want.

Combined Ground and Aerial Packages

Some agents prefer to have both ground-level and aerial photography captured in the same visit. If you already have a ground photographer you work with, we can coordinate timing to be on site at the same time. If you’d like us to handle everything, we can discuss a combined package that covers interior, exterior, and aerial in one booking.

What Types of Properties Benefit Most?

Drone photography adds value to almost any listing, but some property types benefit more than others.

Large blocks and acreage properties are where drone content makes the biggest difference. Buyers can see the actual size and shape of the land, the position of the house on the block, the driveway, outbuildings, gardens, and usable space. This is especially relevant for properties across the Hills District, western Sydney, and the semi-rural fringes.

Waterfront and water-adjacent properties look dramatically better from the air. Whether it’s harbour frontage, a river view, or proximity to a beach, an aerial shot communicates the relationship between the property and the water in a way that ground-level photos can’t.

Elevated properties with views benefit from drone shots that replicate what you actually see from the living areas. If a property has district views, city skyline views, or bushland outlook, a drone can capture that perspective.

Development sites and off-the-plan projects use drone content to show the site in context. Developers use aerial overviews for investor presentations, marketing collateral, and planning submissions. Before construction starts, a drone capture of the raw site establishes a visual baseline.

Properties near key amenities benefit from wider neighbourhood shots. If the listing is 200 metres from a train station, a park, or a school, an aerial photo makes that proximity tangible. It’s more persuasive than any amount of listing copy.

Commercial and industrial properties where the building footprint, yard space, access roads, and surrounding infrastructure matter to buyers. Aerial photos give commercial buyers the practical information they need to assess the site without visiting.

Even a standard three-bedroom house on a regular suburban block can benefit from a single overhead shot that shows the full property and its position on the street. It doesn’t have to be a luxury listing to justify aerial content.

How the Process Works

We’ve kept this as simple as possible because we know agents are busy and turnaround matters.

Step one: You book. Call us on 0422 237 421, email info@enord.com.au, or fill out the form on our site. Tell us the property address, what you need (photos, video, or both), and your preferred date.

Step two: We confirm and plan. We check the airspace at the property location (this is essential in Sydney because of the controlled zones around the airport), confirm the shoot is flyable, and lock in the time. If the location needs a CASA flight authorisation, we’ll let you know the lead time required.

Step three: We shoot. We arrive on site, set up, and fly the capture. A standard real estate drone shoot takes about 30 to 60 minutes on site depending on the property size and the number of shots required. We fly a planned route to make sure we get every angle.

Step four: We deliver. If you organise something to get your photos and videos edited, they are usually delivered digitally, typically within one to two business days. If you need same-day or next-day turnaround, let us know when you book and we’ll make it work.

That’s it. No complex briefing process, no back-and-forth on creative direction unless you want it, no waiting a week for files.

Building Drone Photography Into Your Listing Workflow

For agents who want to make drone content a standard part of their marketing, rather than a one-off for special listings, we can set up a workflow that makes it seamless.

Regular booking cadence. If you have a consistent pipeline of new listings, we can set up a standing arrangement where you send us the address and preferred date, and we handle everything else. No need to go through the full quoting process every time.

Consistent quality and style. Because you’re working with the same team and the same equipment every time, your listing content has a consistent look and feel. That consistency matters for your personal brand as an agent and for the overall presentation of your campaigns.

Pricing that scales. If you’re booking multiple shoots per month, we can structure pricing that reflects the volume. Talk to us about what your typical listing load looks like and we’ll put together something that works.

Bundled services. If you also need drone inspections for pre-sale roof condition reports, or you want to combine aerial photography with ground-level photography, we can bundle these into a single visit and a single invoice.

The goal is to make aerial content as easy to include in your listing campaign as booking a floor plan. If the process is simple and the turnaround is fast, you’ll use it more often. And your listings will be better for it.

Airspace Considerations for Real Estate Shoots in Sydney

Sydney’s airspace is more restricted than most agents realise. A large portion of the metro area falls within controlled airspace around Sydney Airport (Kingsford Smith), and there are additional restrictions near military airfields, helicopter routes, and hospitals with helipads.

In practical terms, this means that properties in the CBD, eastern suburbs, inner west, and areas around Mascot, Botany, and Marrickville are harder to fly over. Not impossible, but they require a CASA flight authorisation, which adds lead time.

Properties across the Hills District, North Shore, Parramatta, western Sydney, the Northern Beaches, and the Sutherland Shire are generally more straightforward from an airspace perspective. These are areas where we can typically book and shoot within a few days.

We check the airspace for every single job. If a property is in a restricted zone, we’ll tell you upfront and advise on the approval timeline. We’d rather give you an honest answer on timing than promise something we can’t deliver.

If you’re not sure whether a specific property address is flyable, send it through and we’ll check for you free of charge.

Our Equipment

Real estate aerial work lives or dies on image quality. We use the DJI Mavic 3 Pro for all our real estate photography and video.

It shoots 5.1K video and captures stills at a resolution that gives you plenty of flexibility for cropping and reframing in post-production. Up to 46 minutes of flight time per battery means we have plenty of airtime to get every angle without rushing. O3+ transmission gives us a reliable, high-quality live feed so we can frame shots precisely.

We carry multiple batteries and spare propellers to every shoot. If something goes wrong with equipment, we have a backup ready so we don’t have to reschedule your shoot.

For listings where a roof condition check would add value, we can also fly our DJI Mavic 3T (thermal and visual inspection drone) on the same visit. Some agents like to offer this as an added service to vendors as part of the pre-sale preparation. More on our inspection service here →

Frequently Asked Questions

How much does real estate drone photography cost in Sydney? Pricing depends on the property size, the content you need (photos, video, or both), and the location. Get in touch for a free quote with the property address and we’ll give you a clear number. We also offer volume pricing for agents with regular listings.

How quickly can you shoot after I book? For most properties in areas with straightforward airspace, we can usually schedule a shoot within one to three business days. Properties in controlled airspace zones need more lead time due to CASA authorisation requirements. We’ll confirm timing when you book.

How fast do I get the photos and video back? Standard turnaround is one to two business days after the shoot. Same-day and next-day delivery is available if you let us know in advance.

What if the weather is bad on the day? We don’t fly in rain or high winds. If the weather isn’t suitable, we’ll reschedule at no extra cost. We monitor conditions ahead of every booking and give you as much notice as possible if a reschedule is needed.

Can you fly at any property in Sydney? Most properties across Sydney are flyable, but some locations in controlled airspace require CASA approval first. We check the airspace for every address and let you know what’s involved. If a property genuinely can’t be flown (rare, but it happens), we’ll tell you before you pay anything.

How many photos do I get from a standard shoot? It depends on the property and the brief, but a typical residential shoot delivers 10 to 20 aerial photos from a range of angles and heights, plus video if that’s part of the package. We focus on quality over quantity. Every photo is one you’d actually use.

Can you also do ground-level photography? Our specialty is aerial work, but we can coordinate with your existing ground photographer to be on site at the same time. If you’d like us to handle a combined package, let’s talk about what that looks like.

Do I own the photos and video? Yes. Everything we capture for your listing is yours to use. Listing platforms, social media, print brochures, vendor reports, presentations. No licensing restrictions.

Can you add a roof inspection to the same visit? Yes. If you or the vendor want a pre-sale roof condition check, we can fly our thermal inspection drone (DJI Mavic 3T) during the same visit and deliver the inspection data alongside the listing content.

Do you work with specific real estate agencies on an ongoing basis? Yes. We have ongoing arrangements with agents who send us multiple listings per month. If that sounds like your situation, get in touch and we’ll set up a workflow and pricing structure that fits your volume.
