Enord UAV Solutions: Drone Rental Terms & Conditions

Plain-English terms for hiring a drone from Enord UAV Solutions. Please read before booking. By ticking the agreement box at checkout, you accept everything below.

1. Who these terms are between

These terms are between you (the “Hirer”) and Enord UAV Solutions (“we”, “us”). They apply to any drone or equipment you hire from us.

2. You are responsible for flying legally

While the drone is in your hands, you are the operator under Australian law. You agree to:

  • Follow all CASA (Civil Aviation Safety Authority) rules under Part 101.
  • Fly in daylight only, keep the drone within your line of sight, stay below 120 metres, and keep at least 30 metres away from people.
  • Not fly over people, near airports, in restricted or controlled airspace, or near emergency operations.
  • Hold valid CASA operator accreditation and register the drone with CASA where required (any drone over 250g).
  • Arrange any additional CASA approvals yourself (such as a RePL or ReOC) if you intend to fly for any business or paid purpose.

You accept all fines, penalties or legal consequences arising from how you fly. CASA penalties can exceed $13,000 for an individual.

3. Bond (damage deposit)

  • A bond of $1000 is taken when you book.
  • We hold it and refund it after the drone is returned on time and undamaged.
  • If the drone or any accessory (batteries, controller, props, case, etc.) is lost, damaged or returned late, repair or replacement costs may be deducted — and you remain responsible for any amount above the bond.
  • Bond refunds may take 2–10 business days to reach your account, depending on your bank.

4. Looking after the equipment

  • Check the drone on collection and tell us within 24 hours if anything is already damaged or missing — otherwise it is taken as received in good working order.
  • Do not modify, repair, or remove any parts or markings.
  • Return everything by the agreed time, clean and in the same condition.

5. Damage, loss and liability

  • You are responsible for any damage, loss or theft while the equipment is in your care.
  • We strongly recommend you arrange your own public liability and equipment (“hull”) insurance — drone damage and third-party claims can be costly.
  • We are not liable for any indirect loss (lost income, missed jobs, etc.) arising from the hire.

6. Payment

  • The bond and any hire fee are payable at booking.
  • Any extra charges (damage, late return, missing items) will be invoiced and are payable on receipt.

7. Cancellations

  • Let us know as early as possible if you need to cancel or reschedule.
  • [Cancellations within 48 hours of pickup may incur a fee — adjust to suit.]

8. Privacy

We collect your details to manage the hire and keep our records. We handle your information in line with Australian privacy law.
